I am appalled but somehow not surprised by the comments on the news boards by many Anti-Alberta and anti oil people from outside of Alberta saying it's deserved/karma etc. This world is messed up.

Situations like this bring out the very best and the very worst in people. All a person can do is try and ignore the negative and focus on the positive, though this becoming incredibly (frank)ing hard in our social media dominated world.

I'm glad my cuz just left Fort McMurray due to Oil companies laying off workers.
Kind of good type of bad thing since if he didn't get layed off, he would have still been working there.

Yet those "anti-oil" people don't realize that most of the oil they use come from Alberta.
To be honest, they shouldn't even be called anti-oil people since most of them are actually dependent upon Oil, in other words, they are hypocrites.

For example, the maker/director of the movie Avatar (The one with the blue weird looking humans) criticized Alberta about its Oil and crap in an interview on a news station (The movie Avatar is actually based upon Alberta and its Oil sands), but right after, he went on his PRIVATE JET to get to California/Arizona (One of 'em).

My dad was in camp and they just kicked everyone out of there so they can give the space to people who had to flee from Fort Mac

Its in the rule book and PER THE RULES, Artemi Panarin is eligible for the Calder Trophy. Could give two franks if McDavid is the better player in the long run or if his PPG in half a season was slightly better. 77 points in 82 games played is this year's Calder winner: Artemi Panarin. If he's as good as you all say, he'll win the Art Ross and Hart Trophy next year anyway, and this will seem like a distant memory.
