Sucks dude. All that hard work down the poopter. Hope you're somewhere safe.

Some of these social media tards definitely need some karma taken to them.

I'd love to run into one of these female genitalias. My parents, sister, cousin, and aunt's places are all burned down and have other family and friends that are in limbo not knowing if they have anything to go back to.

Well, I would counter that, but considering the enigma in this forum, I'd rather not.

Sorry to hear. That's rough. Going to be a long long time before things get back to "normal" if ever.

Hope they're all good. poopty situation.

I am appalled but somehow not surprised by the comments on the news boards by many Anti-Alberta and anti oil people from outside of Alberta saying it's deserved/karma etc. This world is messed up.

Someone here at work was reading a comment like that today from Elizabeth May, Federal Green Party leader.

WTF?

Thanks man. But everyone is safe and sound. Just all material things. My mom was most upset that she never grabbed our old dogs ashes from her closet before they fled. One thing that will be a bonus to come out of this, is that there is gonna be a tonne of work up there when this all gets under control. It will take years to rebuild up there. And then when the NDP's 4 years are up, they will be out of Alberta forever and Alberta will once again prosper through the oil sands up there.

It's just unreal. While this is a god damn tragedy the one positive is that we are seeing that there are many good people out there. the amount of support that is being given so far kinda replenishes my faith in humanity. Especially after that clown last week who was just starting fires for one who was a volunteer fire fighter.

My one buddy was thinking about selling/renting his place and moving back to Red Deer to raise his family there. He's pretty torn up as now he really has no choice in the matter.

I looked it up and I believe one died and that was a helicopter pilot battling the fire and he crashed (I could be wrong just going off of what I read)

It is cool to see everyone band together there during this difficult time....I had family trying to get out of there and went to a gas station to fuel up.....went to get the credit card and was waved through instead of paying...there were people walking down the highway offering water and fruit and such....its really too bad that there are plenty of bumholes out there using this as a platform to mock the people there or refer to it as karma....its just a terrible situation

Heading out there next week to deal with the insurance end of it. I think I will be spending my whole summer in Alberta.

Yes folks I'm am good and so far neither of my houses have been affected. Wife and i got all the animals out and got the (frank) out of dodge pretty quick. We missed the big traffic jam, mostly because i used the wrong side of the highway to get out.

Thanks for your concern.
