But We need look no further than Edmonton or Buffalo this past season to see that we aren't out of the weeds yet.

Matthews and Stamkos, if we sign him, certainly accelerates the rebuild, but it is still a rebuild and we just passed year 11.

I see Zaitsev as playing on our top pairing with Rielly, and I know absolutely nothing about Zaitsev.

That's how franking thin our D corps is right now.

No idea how it'll start AW - but I don't see Zaitsev out of the top 4 at any point this season unless he goes into Babcock's doghouse

He was a defensive defender before 3 years ago and he was coached on how to shoot the puck.

I always said Jake should be a winger. Some people always disagreed, but I thought it could work.. don't think that's an option any more unfortunately.
