Forgot Sosh. I liked Komarov because he grabs attention on any line freeing up other players. In other words he soaks up the hits and rough stuff. And he can chip in goals. Takes heat off Mathews. And has work ethic and leadership to kill.

Lupul is the 13th forward next year if he didn't have career ending surgery?

It's a lot of salary to keep if we try to bury him in the minors.

So maybe put Matthews with JVR and Marner on the second line.

Brown, Stamkos, Nylander..........veteran center with the rookie playmaker and under rated, hard working winger.

JVR, Matthews, Marner ........veteran winger for the new center and rookie playmaker.

Sosh, Kadri, Komarov ........this is just a great line of grit with piss and vinegar.

There is a nice vibe of chemistry with those 3 lines.

1a, 1b, 2a for the top 9. Hard to defend for other teams.

Line ups are fun now, so many options.
