McDavid Panarnin and Ghost just had better seasons it's extremely obvious. Echiel had a great season but not at the level these three had

Unless they trade the pick for a king's ransom, the Leafs will draft Matthews. Then they will also go after Stamkos, although that is by no means a done deal. Nobody knows what Stamkos wants to do, or how the "bidding" will shake out.

Didn't realize the world championships started this weekend. So glad to have some Leaf relevant hockey!

No one is gonna trade what it'd cost to get the leafs to think of moving the pick.

What if they don't draft Matthews and then stamkos doesn't come to Toronto? Then they're doubly (frank)ed.
