If he wasn't 6'4 then it might be true

1) i kinda doubt we get Stamkos so that opens up a position a C..

2) Either Nylander (most likely) or Kadri should be moved to wing before Matthews does imo..

Matthews has actually played LW before and there is a good chance Babcock will want to start him in the NHL at wing before moving him to Centre.
If we end up with Stamkos, I feel like we will let Stamkos be 1C for the first 3-4 years of the contract, and the let someone usurp him in the remaining 3-4 years. (however it ends up).

I met lots of Finns and Swedes last winter and thats just how they talk.. They ar actually more in line with Canadian Values than Americans are.. i really hope Matthews isnt one of those Richardish Americans like Kane..

Best lineup yet - hope it looks close to this to start the season. Not sure they will get Polak back, he was solid though and the fact that he was pissed whenever Marincin or some other D made a terrible play, you could just see it on the guys face.

I just don't see how one guy - even if he is the best goalie in the world - can have that much impact on a team.

IMHO, there was something horribly wrong with that team. Price getting hurt didn't help, but I don't think it was the root cause of their crapitude.

I said this before Price got hurt. We lost to them twice in the first 10 games, but outplayed them badly both times. Their butts were saved by Carey Price and we had that sieve Bernier.
