AND the D is going to look something like this before the season starts:
Reilly, NEW LEGIT#2
Hunwick, Zaitsev
Gardiner, Roman Polak
C. Carrick - underhill14
Nylander has played C all season in the A and performed well at the position in the NHL. I think Nylander starts off C and moves to the wing later while Matthews gets acclimated to pro hockey in NA. Eventually they swap.

Babcock likes him on wing for now...until he fills outs
Roman Polak isn't a Leaf anymore... Id much rather Corrado/Valiev anyways.. Hopefully Dermott and Neilsen get some time with the Leafs this year. - Arctic_AARDVARK
I'm not convinced that Valiev is ready. I think he should play top minutes in the A for awhile before bringing him over.

Adam I'm sorry. As beast mode as Laine is and will be, that lotto day interview was a major turn off. I simple couldn't have cheered for him after that.

I'll have to check it out when I get home from work. Was in Ottawa and away from the interwebs all weekend.

If you're ever feeling delusional about Matthews read this and you'll feel better.
Zibanejad stays in Ottawa all summer, he comes to camp in great shape and scores 30 goals playing at a hard 230 lbs. Turris also has a great season playing as the number 2. People finally realize that Ottawa is solid enough down the middle. - spatso
