Who the heck said he was bust. Most have looked forward to this signing....some wouldnt believe it would occur...until it did occur.

We've seen glimpses of that with Nylander already - at times he circles around like everyone else is a pillar of salt.

Anyway, Matthews appears to have the personality of a goalie. He doesn't appear to be fazed that easily and he's already a year older than Eichel and McDreamy.

Okay.

I just don't see how one guy - even if he is the best goalie in the world - can have that much impact on a team.

IMHO, there was something horribly wrong with that team. Price getting hurt didn't help, but I don't think it was the root cause of their crapitude.

Price's effect is not nearly so much physical as it is psychological.

Plus Price is an all-star goalie and kept them in games they simply didnt deserve to be in.
He was a huge crutch that supported the team...you take him out....yikes
