I hope so

It's so (frank)ed up. You spend so much money on a product/service and schedule everything around that and then nope nothing

My mom picked up the difference of my scholarship and tuition. I mean, I lucked out getting 32k a year, but the fact that she picked up the rest meant, at least to me, that I always wanted to "start" to repay it when I got out of school and got my poop together. Thought this would be a good Mother's Day to do so

Edit: well, I wasn't lucky to get a scholarship, I really worked my ass off, but the point remains the same.

Big boxed stores like Best Buy can screw you over. I worked in a retail store before I went to school and there are many policies that can screw you over. But the customer can get what they want if they want it. They won't like you but you can

oel and the 7th might make them consider it but i don't think that happens
- matt1337

I still wouldn't even do this from a leafs perspective. Call me nuts, but you could have an OEL type in Reilly.

Loui Erikson a couple mid 1st rounders for both'll get the job done.

yeah we don't need OEL right now. rather keep our elite center. OEL can continue rotting away in Arizona.

Would you guys trade Mathews for Strome, 7th (Nylander), and 20th pick......

wonder if Strome + 20th pick would get it done but have to think not. Maybe Domi and those picks but have to think they want center

- AlfieisKing

Strome to me isn't that special. That's my opinion.

Either way you don't give up the chance to draft a potential franchise center unless it's for another franchise center or potential franchise defensmen.

Just a few days ago, the wish list for the offseason was:
1. Win lottery, get Matthews
2. Sign Stamkos
3. Sign Vesey

Before last night, there was great chance of one happening, possible chance of 2 happening, and poor odds of all 3 happening. Now, I think this greatly changes the odds. The fact we won the lottery, which I believe was least likely to occur of any of the 3, may now also help with the other 2. Very exciting season times to be a Leaf fan.

No.

Mathews is a franchise game changer. A number 1 center. He's everything we need. He's not going anywhere.

The leafs cannot afford to trade him for anything less than an overpayment. Think of a trade that you think is laughably ridiculous and then add more.

He's not getting traded.

The pick isn't getting traded. Period.

The only way I'd even entertain it is a package that STARTS with OEL.

But that's patently ridiculous, and the Yotes wouldn't do that, so hell to the no it is!

They're not too bad. I think its only really Suter, Parise and Pominville... Vanek's contract will be expiring but it'll be curious to see if teams are forced to protect those deals or not...

Could be tough on Edmonton with Ference unless he announces his retirement right after game 82.

Timing of the draft will be interesting. Probably will have to fall before the NHL draft and FA, post finals. Curious when the team is allowed to start operating. Could make a serious haul on college FA's and some European signings. Super easy path to big money for those guys

- Lindenis#1

It'll defiantly be an interesting time for the NHL, especially for teams who got NMC on goalies. For example could the Penguins potentially be at risk of losing Murray if they don't move Fluery? (depending on the timing of the draft)

You watch that game?

Shouldn't have been a tie regardless of penalties. Mahrez should've gotten one and so should've MU (forget who it was on the line of the box that got fouled)

Sadly I don't think so. He's excellent getting the play to the right end of the rink, and can consistently score once playing full PP time... but he's not as good defensively. Sadly not close.

Rielly to me is a quality 1b guy. OEL is a bonafide, top 5 in the league stud.

I did... that game coulda gone anyway... hell, it could have been 3-0 MU after 15 minutes... Still, an entertaining advert for the league

PS: Fellaini should have been sent off. I hate that useless bastard so much

Dude, it's still early. That's why I said "might"
Dman take the longest to progress. Don't assing a (21?) year old to being subpar defensively.

I'll give em another couple years. I still can see him becoming 1a stud. Especially with Babs.

The first 15 minutes were horrifying as an LCFC fan

And he totally should've, but it is what it is.

Missing Drinkwater for the next game, maybe 2, is going to suck. On a different note, I bought his England jersyey
