Zibanejad stays in Ottawa all summer, he comes to camp in great shape and scores 30 goals playing at a hard 230 lbs. Turris also has a great season playing as the number 2. People finally realize that Ottawa is solid enough down the middle.

I think that is a fair point. Big, older kids are hard to judge. Their physical strength has always given them an advantage. But as they start to play against men the advantage declines. Matthews has played against men this year. So have the Finns.

I have never been hostile to the Leafs. I have been hostile to those who refused to do a rebuild the right way. The ones that always traded away draft picks for false hope. I think the new guys are doing a great job.
