Just like the last two years when we bounced you 1 out of three is not to bad for you I guess. You guys are like the little engine " I think I can I think I can I think I can"
- Bobd62

No. Not just like that last year. Pens weren't booed off their own ice. They put up a great fight considering they were missing 3 of their top 4 D.

That sound you heard last week was the Rangers window slamming shut.... we all know the feeling.... we thought our window was closing but thanks to the fact that we have a competent front office and quality ownership ours is back open.

But yes Letang does have a nasty streak... he's competitive...he wants to win..... same with Hank except his congress out as whiny temper tantrums

And we bounced you what? Like 9 straight before those two. Jesus, you're not even good at this.

Well let's see? The biggest one is you. And why do you talk about everything but letang being a dirty little punk female dog. All you bring up are things that happened years ago over and over again instead of just admitting letang is a punk. But that's cool you just keep defending him and crybaby and lurch it's really amusing. Go get a few more fosters you hypocrite.
- Bobd62

It doesn't matter if it happened two years ago, still waiting for that female dog Staal to get suspended. Two years ago, female doges like you were defending your piece of poop Dman. Get to the golf course crybaby. You lost.

You've got to love ranger fans and their massive Napoleon complex. Your last cup was 1994 and haven't done a thing in the playoffs since, outside of 2014. So have fun with an aging goalie prone to tantrums and no superstar players.

Why is this rags fan on our board? Shouldn't you be testing out a new pitching wedge?

I like the call on brooksie. He was a decent player for a stretch while with the pens, I even had my gloves signed by him. But his days are numbers and to his credit, he was doing what he could to still be effective... Which is play dirty. Wasn't always the cleanest player.

Sullivan's answer to that reporter's question was priceless.....

"what's the plan if oli maata cannot go?"

"We insert another defenseman into the lineup"

Washington Defense looks really thin to me... It's time to wear Nisk, Alzner, and Carlson down.

I hate to see Maata go down like that but to be honest he's been bad or average in these series so far. Losing Orpik in the this series should really open up space for Malkin or at least take away a matchup they wanted.

What the NHL still don't get is that a dirty hit is a dirty hit!!! You can't just punish the one's that result in a injury. Tom Wilson knee was just as dirty as Orpiks head shot.

Washington's only physical presence on the blueline is now gone for three games. He is slow and isn't that good anymore, but he is still tough to play against due to his physicality. Outside of the three Dmen you mentioned, the rest aren't good. We certainly can now expose them even more. Our guys who like to go to the net will find it less difficult.

Well if we get beat by the Caps, the Rags could not do it. Your hate and discontent could be a thing of legend. Your keyboard commando skills are second to none. You go girl

With Orpik out for 3 games, you guys should be able to take 2 out 3. If the PP can wake up, 3 out of 3 is not impossible. I would love to see an Isles/Pens conference finals, to watch all the games with my 14 year old Pens fan son !! Backup goalies and heart to the finals...

Good luck Pens, one Isles fan cheering for you

After years of futility against our conference, I'm really excited by the prospect that our road to the cup is potentially blocked by three Met teams so we can exercise all of our demons in the process. First things first, though. Gotta keep up the good fight against the Caps

Orpik gets 3 games and that pos letang is still playing. Nice job by the nhl once again. You can't make this poop up.

I think I have some salve here for your butthurt somewhere. You'll have to have Ranger Danger apply it though.... He should have plenty of room on his schedule.

God I don't think I've ever heard of an antihomer but you're definitely it. If the league wanted to rig it for the Pens why weren't Orpik and Wilson ejected? Why was Wilson not even penalized? Why'd they call a BS make up call on Letang?
- Victoro311

It was an article floating around a few weeks back claiming the Pens couldnt find any buyers over $500mil and it was hurting the expansion/relo options.

Why is Kessel the triggerman? It seems almost every time Sullivan switched up Malking/Letang at the point, but kept Kessel on the left side with the puck on his stick.

The game could have been put away early on if they only could have figured it out

- DeflatedPucks

The PP running through Kessel is brilliant. Since he cant one time well it allows him to use his passing skills or wrist shot.

Ok, I get the Rangers (and would have understood Philly and Boston), but what demons are exorcised by beating the Caps, a team that has lost 7 of 8 series to the Pens (and for that matter, what resistance have the post-Al Arbour Isles ever put up - they just won a playoff series for the first time in 23 years) ?

Its not so much just the playoffs. Its just disappointment in general. I just want to man handle our division.
