Do the Leafs even have room for Vesey now? I imagine that part of the package he's gonna get is a guarantee to play with the big boys right away. I think it's a tad silly for the Leafs to make any promises in that regard.

The Leafs have more high end prospects than they know what to do with already. 11 picks in this years Draft. 4 in the first two rounds.

They are sitting 20 goal scorers in the Calder Cup playoffs. They have kids coming into the system with high pedigrees and they don't know where they'll fit them in.

So yah... I'd rather not guarantee anyone anything.
