I forgot to mention but it was from Habs' perspective. I won't kid myself, Matthews is exactly what the Leafs desperately need, a strong and responsible #1 center. That being said, i still think Laine has an higher offensive upside and this thought is gaining momentun amongst the scouts.

Looks like they should be going for Edmonton's pick...if it stands pat there will be plenty of quality prospects left at the 9th pick, none NHL ready but still. Brown, Jost, Keller and one of Julolevi or Sergachev should be there as well. Hoping for Laberge to fall to us in the 2nd round.

I'm fine with Galchenyuk really, Laine is a high end talent playing RW and is 6'5. To me our biggest need is a top line RW. And Markov's replacement.
