I don't see him being taken 2nd round. late first.
Lucas Johansen, Kale Clague, Sam Steel, Libor Hajek, Jordan Kyrou, Nathan Bastian, Cam Dineen, Dillion Dube, Maxime Lajoie, Noah Gregor, Markus Niemelainen.

All players id be super happy with if we could get in the second round. I don't think they will turn out to be superstars but hope 3-4 D or top 9 forwards.

I would be interested in Bastian and Neimelainen only. This is where I put my trust in JB

Here is my dilemma . I want Logan Brown at 5 th and Logan Stanley at 33. Having two Logan's on the team is just Gay. We will go from being called the Sisters to being called the Girls. I don't know if I can endure another decade of ridicule so I am leaning towards drafting Tkachuk just for the embarrassment factor alone. Thoughts?
- VANTEL

I would like juolevi or dubois at 5th i think.

Burkie put it best yesterday. There are cliffs. The top 2-3 players are on a cliff by themself. There is a significant drop off after that cliff. Then the next 3-4 players are on the next cliff and after that another significant drop off.

The words that stand out are significant drop off. We have enough prospects and young player. Take the BPA

Take the quality not the quantity. We can't fix everything in one year.

If its BPA all the way then JB is not taking a Dman. I don't have a Dman in the top 6.

Yeah, I kind of hope he signs some europeans and they come over and play for Utica. Drafting at 5 and not getting a top 3 pick anymore. Do we see the player we pick on the roster next season?

I think Tkachuk would be an upgrade over Sven, Sergachev would be an upgrade over Bartowski

if drouin is still wanting out of TB would it be worth giving up the number 5 pick. He looks like a legit top line player and is ready now.

I just watched some tape and I do like Logan Brown. Big good pedigree. I think I still take Dubois but you never know with JB. Plus we don't get to know these guys character either. We'll see what the consensus is after the combine.

I hope this is they way it turns out, the problem is EDM moving the pick.
- VanHockeyGuy

I doubt it. Jb says he likes a dman at 5. Edm likely wants the same one. Better to take him at 4 than to trade to say u or 7 and we take him and they lose out. Joulevi 4th and Dubois 5th.

Logan Brown . He just turned 18 last month and has one more year in Jr. his numbers are great . It would be like getting a top 3 pick for next year. He could be the steal of the draft.
- VANTEL

I wouldn't pick him that high. Trade down, get another 2nd and draft him.

Trading down to 7 and getting 20th pick makes a tonne of sense.

Draft brown or Dubois at 7. Take bean or Mcavoy at 20.

Brown is 6'6
What happened to McLeod? I thought he was ranked top 6 for a while.

Him and Nylander will slide because of red flags from the scouts. So I'm reading.
