From one angle I saw a can opener, from the other I thought it was a good play. Definitely tough to tell what they're gonna call.

Edit: Great hit on Crosby.

realize I'll sound biased, but the letang play was a good piece of defending. the pens had a pretty big advantage in PPs though at that time, so thats just how the NHL works.

and yeah. that was a good, legal, hard hit on crosby. good on carlson to deliver it shoulder to shoulder. still laid his lumber on a guy twirling around, but he did it in a way that doesnt scream blatant disregard for someone's safety. He could have knocked his head off of his shoulders there if he was so inclined.

Sanguinetti would NOT have been Flyers pick if Rangers had not taken him, contrary to the oft-repeated story. Patrik Berglund would.
