You're right. Letang should have gotten 3 for his slash on Stalberg, and Wilson should have gotten 3 for his knee on knee.

I think you're a pretty solid citizen around here. None of this is directed at you. I just happen to think a guy like Wilson (size, speed and recklessness) could seriously hurt somebody if he doesn't control himself.

I agree. I just don't agree with the assertion that he intends to injure people. He's a big, dumb jock that needs to pick his spots better. He was never going to make it to the NHL on his hockey skill. I wanted him off the team before the season started, but he's here and he's always going to be under a microscope. He's never going to be a Lucic type, which is what I hoped for when he was drafted, but I think he is capable of cleaning it up and becoming an effective bottom-6 player.

You started off pretty good but you can't just let it go. You're turning trolly man. Move on. He tried to take Sheary's knee out and almost everyone who's seen it, Pens fan or non pens fan, can see it. Bottom line is that's intent to injure. Tom Wilson is a big wreckless disrespectful hockey player. He plays wreckless. Get the F over it.

I don't have a dog in the fight, but that was a pretty big missed call. I'm not saying the Pens would have won if the refs got it right, but it certainly would have given them a huge opportunity to take over the game.

My big complaint is the league continues to let scumbags like Wilson on the ice. I blame the NHL not the individual refs.

The best part was that right after the contact Wilson actually stops and turns toward the box expecting to be called, hesitated and looked somewhat surprised that he wasn't going to the box then turned back and went to the bench.

This is a laughable statement. Letang lets his emotions get the best of him which leads him to do the occasional stupid poop. The stick whack on Stalberg was really bad. He is by no means a dirty player. If Letang is a dirty player Staal deserves to be suspended half the year.
