nah but I did chug a barrel of beer... a awesome game but the way pens had sucha rough time scoring (especially on the pp) just made me angry even though they dominated. sry for that

So I've come up with a good comparison for Orpic...


James Harrison. When the NFL decided it wanted to cut down on big hits and late hits, Harrison had... what was it, a 1 game suspension and 5 fines that first year? Something like that... Orpic would be a similar scenario if the NHL decided to care.

Much much better game. I think that snagged some of the mo back. Still think we need to do a better job in regards to establishing cycles in the offensive zone in order to drive to the net and get at Holtby, but hopefully we can take this momentum back home and put this thing on heat. If we play like we did tonight next week this series won't make it to 7.

And luckily I didn't jinx it. Ovi was invisible tonight. Him and Kuznetzov need to step it the (frank) up the Caps are gonna have a chance at this.

Brooks Orpik potentially getting a suspension would be huge. I'd love to see Schmidt, Orlov, or Chorney have to play top 4 minutes. Luckily we have the depth to compensate for losing Maatta if he is indeed out. Washington not so much in regards to Orpik I think.

I feel the same way. I usually drink to dull the emotions, but chose not to tonight. Won't be making that mistake again.

Hope Maatta is OK... But I think Schultz will be ok in his place.

Holy poop! My Hawks were undefeated when leading after 2 last year (though they didn't win as many games like that. That's very impressive ). I think the Pens have exactly what it takes to go all the way this year. They look hungrier than I've seen them in years and most importantly, they're playing like it.

As much as I hate the caps, I feel less stressed during these games. Not sure why. Just good hockey. We owned large sections of that game. The breakout was so smooth. Getting better every game. We need the 1st line going.

Going to go with the light amount of saves he made, in comparison to Holtby... and they wanted to highlight Kessel's good effort for once.
