It's not just about return as it is freeing up money for another forward
- KreiderBomb

True, but what forward would be available that has a complete game like Nash?

Nash is scoring 45 next year. Book it.

I'd definitely be on board with going for Okposo, I think he's perfect, right handed shooting physical winger who can score, but I think he's gonna be too rich for Rangers blood
- jimbro83

Okposo is a nice player but he won't be playing with a player of JT's caliber anymore on the Rangers. His production will almost certainly go down significantly.

I'll take that bet and I'll send you the money in a telegram.

Edit: Even if he's a on a different team with a better center he still won't score 45.

(frank) you and trading Hayes. We aren't talking for the rest of the day.

I hope your power goes out and your ellios goes rancid.

- mdw7413

for real though, if one of hte 3 have to get moved I am moving him cause I ain't moving Kreider and I like Miller's overall game more

I'd trade both Kreider and Hayes.

I think we should acquire Thornton. Nash would pot 50 on his flank considering their chemistry from that one time they played hockey in that game for 20 minutes

And Okposo is not a physical player.

And honestly the dude is really not physical at all. Watched him a lot this year and was surprised how much he shies away from contact.

I think Okposo would still produce with Stepan or Brassard

Okposo is about as physical as rangerdanger was in high school gym class

I would be very careful giving him a big deal.

Right. So both of them can flame out in the playoffs together.

Trading Nash has about 100 pros and maybe 1 con. It's a no brainer decision, Nashole must go haha

Maybe 20-25 goals or so.

It says something to me when Isles fans are looking forward to him walking in free agency

Isles fans freaked out when Stepan made the Olympics over Okposo, I think Butchie went all the way to Obama about it

Not as bad as when Tavares was left off Neil Greenberg's "Top 25 under 25" list, that was based on advanced statistics.

Howie trashed analytics on the air, insinuated that Greenberg lived in a basement and never saw the light of day, and then called him a "house-bound 'agraphobe' "...which I assume was supposed to be "agoraphobe".

found it:

So basically he pulled a Tanner, Greenberg that is.
