As much as every part of me wants to love Kreider I will also go out on the limb that he has one 'great' season with 25+ goals but consistently averages under 20 leaving a larger mass of frustrated fans in his wake than goalie bodies.

Count me in as well. HE is younger than Kreider and is only in his second season. He shows more skill as well. I think they get him cheap on a bridge deal and have 2 years to let him grow or two yeas to figure out he is brain dead. I'm hoping the light goes on because he has a ton of talent.

Once Hayes gets his act together he can be a legitimate top six forward.

I'm okay with it if Hayes is dirt cheap but frankly in two seasons I am yet to be even remotely impressed with him. My hope for this offseason is that all of the guys who don't come to play every night are the ones moved and he is numero uno in that dept.

I'm calling it now that Hayes is never more than a mediocre bottom 6 player.

He put up 45 points (17/28) as a rookie and was 7th on the team in scoring. 1 point behind Kreids and 4 behind Zucc

Kreider's only played three full NHL seasons and scored over 20 twice.

He is frustrating though because he has 30+ goal potential but he coasts way too often.

Well when you put it like that...he starts to look like a quality top 6 forward

Part III of post mortem and tear down blog up later before Passover starts again tonight. Separating forwards into two parts, will be too lengthy and worst for one. Part IV up on Sunday

I get it that statistically neither of these guys is bad. I just don't see the compete level out of them every night that I see in the Hawks, Blues, Stars, Caps, etc.

Not to mention that away from the puck they also both make me want to pull my hair out.

I love Lucic but he's just a variant of Kreider. He would drive me crazy if he played for the Rangers

That maybe in part IV. Have it written but need to keep some intrigue. Part III is likely Nash, Stepan, Brassard, Zucc, Miller and Kreider.

Here is Jan's blog, he gave me a sneak peak; "Keep everybody except Hayes. He's soft and unwilling to change his game."

If I could have gotten away with writing just 12 words, I would be ecstatic.

I was looking at a kid the Rangers should draft, but he's climbing up the Rankings. Classic I pick one player in this draft I like and think the Rangers might have a shot at him, but nope.

He was in the 30's for Euro's at the midterm.

Listen some of us can take some witty banter. Some of us can't.
