I know I'm late, but congratulations Blues fans.

You knew it was going to be Brouwer to get the dagger.

Not trying to sound like a homer, but the Hawks have to be one of the toughest outs in the entire league, you have to think that the Blues really can play with anyone in a best of 7...

Why did the Ana/Nash series start so late and how did game 1 of the 2nd round end before game 7 of the 1st round even started??? I did not think that was possible.

Going camping this weekend but will listen to game 1 on the radio. I should probably be back in time to catch game 2.

LET'S GO BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Detroit’s new arena will be called Little Caesars Arena - thats from nbcsports. Hate that sight how they redesigned everything (shortly before nhl.com received its redesign)

Wings and pizza anyone??

The wings are facing off tonight against the Lightning, boy they sure are looking hot and ready tonight and there are so many more you can come up with…………..

The wings will be the laughing stock of the league when they open the new arena. what were they thinking??

The pairing of nbc and nhl might be beneficial (i have no clue) but the higher ups have ruined the websites.

Detroit Red Wing owner also owns Little Caesars.

I bet he doesn't care how funny people think it is if it makes him some extra cash.

They should do a promo, hot and ready tickets. All unsold tickets 5 minutes after puck drop, $5 each.

So, I turned on the Washington/Pittsburgh game just now. Watched about 5 minutes, and Oshie had already fallen 4 times.

Some things never change.

Dammit, i fell asleep. I was trying to watch that game. oh well 3-3 going into o/t

Yeah i knew he owned Little Ceasars. What a Richard move. Owns L.C., The Tigers, The Red Wings, then signs a 20 year 6 something mill a year naming deal with a bankrupt city?? ha ha ha

Datsyuk will probably return to russia to play. Detroit might need to do some stuff this offseason.

Things changed a lot for him. He scored 3 goals and the game winner. Never did anything like that for the Blues in the playoffs

Yeah I know, figures he starts scoring for them. Daley made it pretty easy for him though.

He never even scored 3 goals in any playoffs for us, let alone 1 game in the playoffs

Yeah, good for him and the Caps. Even though he still can't stay upright, he is doing better than before. Being on a line with Ovi will do that.

Game day! Let's do this!

They showed a stat last night: 30 playoff games for the Blues, 7 points. 6 playoff games for the Caps 6 points (or something like that).

Sometimes it takes a move for a player to reach their potential. Good for him.

It could be the oh I don't know TWO superstar players he is playing with

He never played with anyone close to the talent of Backstrom and OVi in STL

that is the difference

You put good players with great players they produce

You put good players with other good players they don't

It could be his usage as a Blues and the coaches game structure. The Caps do not look to sit and cycle the puck like the Blues. Also look Steen still is doing terrible in the play offs. His other linemate was often Backes he is having one of his better olay offs and it still leaves a lot to be desired.

Oshie > Brouwer. Far better backchecker, and both are prone to making mistakes with thenpuck in the same exact area of the ice. Though Oshie in his own end sometimes got caught trying to toe drag and Brouwer I do not recall him trying to toe drag in his own end.

Oshie makes big hits so is Brouwer's hitting ability that much better?

This means the NTC likely was the impetus for say not moving Steen over Oshie or Backes.
