You know someone will bring up David Clarkson, but I think Canucks should look at a tough guy scorer for four years.

Any player signed more than 3 years should be front loaded contract and no NTC on final two years.

Both were on the team that made it to the stanley cup final. Tanev on second pairing i'm okay with. Edler has just been injured for too many seasons now and i'm kind of giving up on him.

Baby Steps would be too draft for top end D instead of hoping to finding a gem in the draft.

They have almost identical stats. same age, same size, only 40 games played apart and about 15 points apart. I think he's a 3rd liner at 3.8 is too much. Not a lot out there for players of his type. what about trading our 1st/2nd overall pick to a team and then getting enough prospects and assets back to get three picks in a row from 7,8,9 and taking Juolevi, sergachev, and Chychrun one after the other...

3 Dmen for one first/ second overall and whatever is gotten in trade and some Nux picks thrown in...
