Is that not the definition of boarding? actually I'm asking for real, shouldn't that have been boarding? Not trying to piss anyone off here - Conquest

Not in the slightest. Condra played the puck, Cizikas finished his check. No contact to the head, no hit from behind. The result was horribly unfortunate but it wasn't egregiously late or illegal. The injury changes nothing, but hope he has a speedy recovery. |

It was a clean hit. Hope Condra comes back soon. |

That's a very dangerous area to make that sort of hit though, quite stupid actually. He didn't even attempt to play the puck. Hits like that aren't the ones we want in the game |

If we're going to start policing where on the ice you're allowed to check and where you're not...then I'd rather they eliminate hitting altogether.
Can't really figure out why you think Cizikas would be considered "stupid" for making a hit there. Wasn't as if Condra had no idea he was coming. That was a textbook perfect hit. The result is unfortunate but it doesn't change that. |

Also seems we'll need rebound control to score. Bishop is so damn huge |

He's mega-concussed. He didn't know what planet he was on. That's a terrifying look on someone's face. |

I haven't seen the hit yet but I don't think anything you said here really negates whether or not a hit is boarding. Or does boarding have something to do with late-hits/head-shots/hits-from-behind that I am unaware of? |
