@Bill You can not argue that Neurvirth had a better series. Mason played very well in game 1 but Neurvirth was spectacular in Games 4, 5 and 6. Mason was average in games 2 and 3.

JR was done as an effective NHLer at that point, due to accumulated concussions and wear and tear. Forsberg had his litany of injuries but was a definite upgrade over JR when able to play.
