think IF we try to trade PIT's 1st for another top 10 pick or something, that Percy will be included?

I really hope not...

I wouldn't mind going with Rielly/Gardiner/Russian douche/Hunwick/SH/Percy/Carrick with SH/Carrick/Percy rotating. But then again, we still have Corrado & Marincin (who both played really well since the Dion trade) .

It's a good "problem" to have in a way, but yes, we do have some decisions to make..

By not bringing up Percy, which he deserved to be, the writing is on the wall. One of those Burke picks that are being shipped out. Shame, he is a quality and smart D Men who is NHL ready.

it's safe now, we won't tell you Jon snow is alive after the woman in red (frank)ed him for 47min in the 1st episode. He now has a light on the tip of his penis.

I think you may have been watching Game of Hoes on the PPV channels and not even realized.

It is kind of odd, I think Percy has a future in this league. He'll be what, 29 going into next season?

They just have to be careful they don't make the kind of decision that turns into Anton Stralman. That's the worst part about 'good problems'.
- 1979AD

definitely.. years later, I'm still so bummed over giving up on Stralman..

which is why I'm so against trading Gardiner as well.

honestly... not sure what hey do with percy... i read an article one time about how he has begun to model his game after the type of game hunwick plays

if he shows he can play that type of game... consistently... and be strong on the puck and boards (there is nothing wrong with his positioning) i could see him as the leafs candidate to replace hunwick if he gets moved or at seasons end.

If you want a young pair of D men that are responsible in the D zone, Harrington and Percy would be a good 5th and 6th, both can kill penalties, Harrington is physical, Percy is sound positional wise and can move the puck.

always said, let the kids play, especially on the blue line . Let them learn together with the big club.

Rielly - Hunwick
Gardiner - Russian dude
Percy - Harrington ?

where does that leave guys like Corrado, Marincin, and Carrick?

Roy & Radulov = more "beef" than 2pac & Biggie.

To be honest, I like Carrick better than Gardiner. More physical, skates just about as well, has a great shot from the point.

all 3 ? Seems unlikely.. maybe 1 of them, and the other on waivers. I think 1 of those last 3 guys I mentioned will be the 7th dman .

Guys, I know he's not 29, I was exaggerating to make the point that he's reaching the age where they need to poop or get off the pot. Maybe I should have said 34 or something to make that more clear. I've failed you.

Can Carrick jump in next yr and be a 2nd pairing dman ? because Gardiner is that right now. If he gets dealt for some goaltending or packaged for a top 10 pick, we'll need someone to play top 4 mins .. Besides Rielly/Hunwick .. ?
