I think they'd either compliment Marner with Tkachuk or they'd compliment Nylander with his brother. I doubt they'd go D with #4.

The Edmonton proposals would be kinda fun to see if it improves them.. bye RNH, Ebs, Yak.. Hello Fowler, Nash, Hudon.. looks like a loss on paper for Edm, but i think Nash and Fowler would help them greatly.

Could you imagine - losing JVR, 2 1sts (probably top 10 at least) and a 2nd for the rights to negotiate for Stamkos and then he signs with MTL by noon on July 1st.

This city would burn.

If the Leafs get the 1st: Matthews, 100% without a doubt they take him if they can

2nd: Laine. They won't gamble on missing out on a potential elite guy with his size.

3rd: Trade the 3rd (Puljujarvi) to whoever might want him, but only if it keeps them in the top 6 picks. They might be able to get a top 6 fwd/goalie and a 4-6 pick back of a team want's him bad enough. If there are no takers, they grab poolparty..

4th: Tkatchuk. They want him regardless.. They'll take Nylander if they happen to trade down.

Just watched that highlight package of every point Marner has got this year.. Man he set up tkachuk for a lot of point blank slot goals and tap ins. Dvorak looks like a real stud.


Not going to be too upset if we get tkachuk but really hoping for 1,2 or 3
