I've read all 5 books twice now waiting for #6. The wait is even more frustrating than the differences in the show.

Hopefully by the time you're finished reading Dance with Dragons, #6 will be out already.

yup... its going to be a buyer's market for goalies this season

teams who have two who could legitimately start (like anaheim) will want to recoup something for their second goalie before losing them for nothing.

The fifth and latest book came out before I started reading them, 2011 I think. Five years between books now, I wouldn't be surprised if there was 3 more years to wait, or books 6 and 7 just won't happen.

Again I must re-iterate that getting Stamkos will be a TRAVESTY to this team!!! If we get Stamkos it will hurt the rebuild & the Leafs will become a better team & if they become a better team it hurts their draft position & if it hurts their draft position they won't get to draft a 1C and if they don't get to draft a 1C they will suck and if they suck they will get a good draft position & no Stanley Cup!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! The team must tank for another 10 years to properly rebuild!!! The path to 1st is thru last, annually!!!

I read in behind the show. I am at the end of the 3rd book and can't believe how close it is to where the shows plot is at. Having a hard time grasping what can possibly fill two more whole books.

What is really encouraging is Connor Brown playing absolutely lights out, he was great with the Leafs as well.

I remember someone here saying he will amount to nothing because he saw him play and was not impressed.

I was thinking about this a few days ago, A possible target might be Fowler if Anaheim has to dish out big on their RFA's.

I think the Ducks would like to trade him and his $4 million cap hit. Not sure he's right for us. Vatanen and Lindholm are both RFA, I'm thinking we could get one of them in a nice package along with Andersen or Gibson, depending on who the Ducks decide to keep as their #1. I'd rather Vatanen just cuz he's right handed.
