I guarantee that NONE of the Caps are thinking about Game 5 and are in "WTF mode" about it heading into today's game.

Caps get a lot of credit for their incredible season, deservedly so.

But Pitt was by far the hottest and best team down the stretch. Malkin fit back in seamlessly and their goaltending has been great.

Rangers ran into a buzz saw.

Hate to say this but it could be the Pens year, at least getting to the finals.
Whoever comes out of the stacked West should be a handful (if healthy).

I saw a few of their games at the end of the season and realized no one is stopping them this year. They finally have a team where the complementary pieces are really producing. But what I don't get is how their defense became so good.

Got a bad feeling about today. But like I've said before , they are further then I ever thought they would be this year. So either way it's a win win .

I picked the caps in 6 and I tend to think that is what will happen but I absolutely love what this team has accomplished with a limited roster. One thing Hakstol has done has gotten this team to play hard night in and out. I'm excited about the future.

I think most of us expect to lose but enjoy the ride. So far they've surpassed most of our expectations and now everything else is gravy. The pressure is on them.

In regards to the Rangers, I did enjoy looking up their big deals at the past 3 deadlines:

2016 - Aleksi Saarela, 2016 2nd, 2017 2nd for Eric Staal (rental)
2015 - Anthony Duclair, John Moore, 2015 2nd, 2016 1st for Keith Yandle (1.5 years), Chris Summers, 2016 4th

and this is part of the reason why I want to see the Flyers build through the draft. trading away that much more on finals run and no cup? good lord
