Numbers like those are almost always a team vs. team reflection and not mostly on the goalie himself. Lundqvist can play better but to pin it on him first and foremost is to bark up the wrong tree. The Pens were a lot better than the Rangers. End of story.

Caps get a lot of credit for their incredible season, deservedly so.

But Pitt was by far the hottest and best team down the stretch. Malkin fit back in seamlessly and their goaltending has been great.

Rangers ran into a buzz saw.

Hate to say this but it could be the Pens year, at least getting to the finals.
Whoever comes out of the stacked West should be a handful (if healthy).
