I'm dreaming that we get Stammer but that would potentially be a great line. Zucc weaving and trying to find Stammer for the one timer bomb with Kreider causing havoc crashing to the net and throwing his weight to retrieve pucks.

Yup. Hope the kid figures how to play like he did for the last 25 games for an entire season. But gotta think that a team with so many defensive issues this year wasnt really good for a player like him who is not very defensively oriented to begin with. Probably made him second guess his positioning, his aggressiveness, etc...

I can't help but notice how much distrust there was on this team in the defensive zone. Clearly remember the Hagelin goal in game 5. You had Kessel who stopped on the far side behind the net. Hagelin circled behind the net with the puck. I must have shouted for 5 secs for Klein to cover the damn passing lane behind the net to Kessel. But Klein stood half way in the middle because he didn't trust Stepan covering the pass in front of the crease. So naturally Hagelin makes an easy pass to Kessel, then Stepan faces Kessel and Klein scrambles doing the same thing leaving Hagelin wide open to walk up to the backdoor and slam dunk the pass back across from Kessel.

This team needs to trust each other, thats what stops the chasing of the puck leaving opponents open all over the place.

Kind of a stupid move on his part. I get that Brooks (and to a much lesser degree, Cygralis) is a giant douche-nozzle, but telling him to (frank) off in front of every member of the NY media that covers the Rangers probably wasn't a good idea.

Why? He is done playing why not blast those facking nerds who have never played the game yet sit there and rip these guys a part like they have any clue. Most of the writers are good but guys like Brooks who do it for hits and attention deserve everything they get
