Let's be real, Hank is not waiving nor are the Rangers going to ask him to waive his no trade, he makes too much money for Dolan to be dealt

Nash and his contract have to be moved, Girardi has to be looked at for a buyout

Mcd-Demers or Shatty if my dreams come true
Staal-Klein
Skjei-McIlrath

That's not bad

The forward group after Nash I couldn't tell you what's gonna happen, adding Buchnevich is a must, I can't see them adding a free agent at least not a big one, I was thinking maybe Helm

Hank isn't being traded....I am willing to bet my fandom on that. I will become a fan of the Leafs if he is

Jeez, did you not see my post where I said this had a .000001% chacne of happening. This is just what I would like to see. Get worse to get better in the long run.

Nah I missed that. Just glad you aren't GM. If we did trade Hank I would want more then what you traded him for

Name another team that is a goalie away with cap space that would be willing to sign over their future for 33 year old goalie with 8.5 million dollar cap hit?

I have no clue. But if we did trade him to Dallas, I think we could get more

You won't get Nichuskin, he has to much value in terms of his contract being cheap for a few more years. Benn, Sharp, Seguin, Klingberg and Spezza won't be move. What else do they have?

I'll say this if the Blues lose, you can maybe swing a deal for Shattenkirk and Elliott for Lundqvist. This isn't me be overrun with rage. This is just severed emotions. The window for the team winning a championship is closing, because guys are getting older and guys bodies will start and starting to betray them. So cut your losses and push the restart button.

So you think Brian Elliott is the deal breaker? Because I think thathe deal is fair. No Fabbri, no Barbashev and no picks.

Why would Stamkos want to come to the Rangers. The team looks like it is taking a step back, he would have a chance to win elswhere

Yes I know. Right now this roster was just bounced in 5 games. Getting spanked in 3 of them. Move on. Wipe the slate clean. You don't have to agree and this has about .00000001 chance of happening.

I don't think anyone should panic here. Terrible years happen after successful ones. This group has been seriously humbled this year. Come October I can see a seriously motivated team getting back to basics and getting the D structure back. You'll have Skjei full time, instead of Boyle, which right there is a gigantic upgrade. Trim the fat, i.e.- Boyle, Moore, E Staal, Nash, Girardi, etc. In some form or another, these guys have to go. The forward group still has some very good pieces to build on and add too. Hank I think was just mentally done this year. He's in tremendous shape. This D left him out to dry on numerous occasions, game in game out. Mcd not being healthy had to have a huge effect this series, no way that hand is 100%.

The moves I'd like to see:

New coach (wasn't a fan of that move until the last two games)
Nash traded
Girardi buy out
Yandle let go (along with Stalberg and E Staal)
Weise and Okposo signed (I imagine Okposo getting 5-6 mill a year)
Mcilrath, Lindberg, Hrivik 6th D and 4th liners

Twelve forwards
------------------
Stepan
Brassard
Zucc
Krieder
Okposo
Miller
Hayes
Fast
Lindberg
Hrivik
Buchnevich
Weise
Glass (13th forward)

6 D
----
McDonagh
Skjei
Klein
Staal
Mcilrath
????

Hank
Raanta

I don't see both Staal and Girardi gone. Staal just wasn't great. Really since his eye injury he hasn't been nearly as good

Buffalo. Hank won't waive to the places that we could send him but he's not the problem.

He had a bad year. It happens, ppl are overreacting with him. He's still a solid player and IMO will have a bounce back year next year.

It's been that long since he's been good I don't think he has very good peripheral vision, no joke. His decision making is just a bit slower now
