Just sit Bailey. Can Bernier be any worse? He at least looked like he had a little bit of fire in his belly when he played against the Rangers at the end of the season. Maybe something like...

Nielsen - Tavares - Okposo
Nelson - Strome - Clutterbuck
Kulemin - Quine - Prince
Martin - Cizikas - Bernier

...adjust lines as you see fit.

I like these lines UIF.

I don't care if he keeps the lines the same or replaces Bailey with Bernier, but it's the absurd amount of ice time he gave the Bailey line, after they have pissed all over their own faces this entire series, is what I can't understand. The fourth line is garbage too, they need to be relegated to regular fourth line minutes. The Tavares line and the 10/11/18 line need to get the most ice time, plain and simple.

You're right, but I do think after that last game, one would think the isles entire roster is gonna show up. Personally, i dont even care if they win or lose, but phuck me, if you're gonna lose go out swinging. Noone likes to see someone strike out just watching the pitch.

The isles brass loves to refer to their team as having a good room. Well, lets see how good the room is now after that sh!t show of an effort. Hockey locker rooms are shaped in a square where everyone has to look at everyone. Its time guys start looking each other in the eye and calling them out.

Yeah, no idea why Nelson's line started last game and was out there against Barkov's line at times. They should be matched up against Florida's fourth line only with the way they've played.

I'd like to get Nelson on a line where there's someone to get him the puck to take that nice shot he has. I don't think he's a good fit with Kulemin, who's too slow, and Bailey, who's too invisible, creating space for him. He seems to be at his best when someone can get him the puck in the high slot and he can take a good look and let the shot fly. I don't think Nelson's been great, but I think anything he can bring is being wasted right now. His only goal came in the middle of a line change when he was out there with Strome, who sprung him with a nice pass to send him on his way.

They had way too much ice time. Fourth line too. For all the talk about the Islanders having "the best fourth line in hockey" they sure managed to look like your average fourth line this series. All three of them.

My biggest issue with Capuano has always been that he is, seemingly, utterly unable to adapt properly when the game calls for it. He had the fourth line out there at the end of the game down a goal when not one of those 3 guys has done a single thing of note in the playoffs. He rides what's worked for him in the past and can't change up his gameplan until it's too late and he has no options. It's really terrible.

In fairness to Capuano, he was grasping at straws. He put the line out there that in the past has come up with some big GWGs. I dont really see that as being a bad idea. He went with the odds...

Sucks that he is out but no worries ladies and gents, we will win game 5 for the 1st time since 1987 tonight.
Time to be the big boys, not happy to just be here, now we take control of our fate.

I will confidently say this even after the game 4 effort. I'm tired of feeling like every game we are on egg shells. Enough is enough!!!!

This says it all about Cappy. Everything needs to go perfectly or he has no clue. Team has one injury and he runs around like his hair is on fire.

It was game 7 vs Wash last year all over again, they were playing not to lose, some of that has to fall on the coach.

You got a guy in Pete Rose who was the all time hits leader, and he's banned from baseball. His on field play, and accomplishments should have no bearing on what he did as a manager. With that said, you have 80% of the league on steroids, and players lying under oath who are still playing today. Its a joke.

Look, i dont love the coach, but he's not the one out there executing. The players themselves have to take charge. It seems to me that the isles like to keep drafting these "nice" guys, but nice guys dont win games. They need guys who are gonna step up in the room and call each other out.

Not that I'm particularly "afraid" of Trocheck, but we should probably win tonight

Based on what I'm seeing at morning skate, my prediction is Vincent Trocheck out for Game 5, in Game 6. #FlaPanthers

I can live with that. Only thing is I'm tired of seeing Nelson with Kulemin. Feel like they've been together for long stretches at various times for two years and I'm not sure if it's ever worked.

I'm sure a lot of teams will take a shot at Stamkos. Thing is, it probably won't come down to who makes the best offer. He'll get max money no matter where he goes, so it'll most likely just be a matter of where he wants to play, and that'll probably be the usual suspects.

Yea this isn't entirely cappy. Not going to repeat much of what was said in the last thread but we all know it's a mix between the way this team is built (snows job) and cappys decisions/failure to make adjustments and the inconsistent motivation thing, which is very intangible anyway.

Isles need a coach they don't want to let down. A coach who they want to put everything on the line for. That isnt the dynamic here with Cappy. But at the same time, these are pro athletes, and you should come out flying to win for yourself and the team if it isn't going to be for the coach.

It's a mix between the GM coach and overall talent level.
