I can live with that. Only thing is I'm tired of seeing Nelson with Kulemin. Feel like they've been together for long stretches at various times for two years and I'm not sure if it's ever worked. - UIF
Valid point Kuli & Clutter provide the d-side for W so either can be interchangeable. |

Friedman/Stamkos: I wouldn't be surprised if team like #Isles, for example, is in on it, and they've never really been mentioned. 2/2

Yea this isn't entirely cappy. Not going to repeat much of what was said in the last thread but we all know it's a mix between the way this team is built (snows job) and cappys decisions/failure to make adjustments and the inconsistent motivation thing, which is very intangible anyway.
Isles need a coach they don't want to let down. A coach who they want to put everything on the line for. That isnt the dynamic here with Cappy. But at the same time, these are pro athletes, and you should come out flying to win for yourself and the team if it isn't going to be for the coach.
It's a mix between the GM coach and overall talent level. - NYI80123

Sucks that he is out but no worries ladies and gents, we will win game 5 for the 1st time since 1987 tonight.
Time to be the big boys, not happy to just be here, now we take control of our fate.
I will confidently say this even after the game 4 effort. I'm tired of feeling like every game we are on egg shells. Enough is enough!!!! - rickyd39
If they lose its your fault. |

The fact that he hasnt been signed already by Tampa is telling. I would be SHOCKED if he isn't a leaf next year. It just makes too much sense. They've cleared the space to sign him to the biggest contract in NHL history. |

Staple sort-of shot down this idea the other day when he was answering questions and I can't say that I wholeheartedly disagree with him. Between the price that Stamkos would command and what we're going to have to pay Johnny in a few years...that would be a lot of money tied up in only two players. like 25%-33% of the cap, based on where it may rise to. |

I think when the dust settles, Stamkos will walk and Drouin is going to end up staying. He's making a major case for himself in the playoffs right now. |

Hello, ears?
Meet music.
Friedman: “I do believe the trade rumors this off-season are going to be off the charts.”
By all accounts, this seems like it's going to be a wild offseason. |

Yeah I don't think its a realistic option was just pointing it out. Unless the new owners want to make a splash |

I actually watched the Lightening game last night (after the Rangers went down 0-3), and i gotta say Drouin is a special player. He was making passes that were Tavares' esq |

Somehow the Blackhawks were able to do it with Kane/Toews |

Yeah I know.
Honestly, I'd roll the dice on him. Cut the dead-weight, sign Stamkos, give me some high-energy positive possession players for the bottom 6. |

if you have the opportunity to have jt AND stamkos on the same team, you take that chance and figure out how to make everything else work. |

Even with KO, Frans and possibly ridding the team of Bailey, i dont think the isles are willing to spend what Stamkos is gonna be asking.
I see the isles at the draft making the Hamonic deal with the Oil. I'd also see what the lightening are looking for with Drouin. |

The Rangers funeral procession is going through all 5 boro's and they don't want to be rude. |

If the Lightning are going to move Drouin, which I don't think they will now, I believe the rumored price would be a talented young defenseman, preferably a RH shot. So Pulock, likely. |

Caps vs Flyers. After tonight's game you will know. They are going to put that game in the best time slot if there is a game 6 for that series. If there is no game 6 the Isles will most likely get that slot |
