He's laughing about you thinking Lowe (not even in hockey ops) and MacTavish (pretty much just a scout and adviser now) are still a problem. Management is no longer a problem and coaching is barely (PP coach has been problematic so far), it's on the players now.

Once Hamonic and [insert acquired top 4 d-man here] are in the lineup there will officially be no more excuses. This team should be fighting for a playoff spot next year.

You have been around long enough to know that that is just not true.

Whatever, brother. Not sure what you even mean. Ok. The Oilers are great. Just keep this group together. Don't trade for "pennies on the dollar". They are on the right track.

Exactly this

You can't comprehend anything rational or middle ground

Your first thought was "this guy thinks the oilers are great and they don't need to do anything"

It's not like your post pissed me off. It was funny actually. I especially liked the " whatever" retort.
And I wasn't even calling you alone out.
Your misguided thoughts are really no different than a whole ton of other clueless posters.

I, for one, expect them to be considerably better next year.

My expectations are that they will move Hall this off-season .

These two sentences seem contradictory to me.

Wonder why Canadians aren't watching the playoffs? The Canadian press. Canada has 7 of 30 NHL teams. Someone needs to tell Eklund (and many others).

If Toronto played in the west the margin would be greater

Can't see Hall moving EXCEPT in the bizarre scenario where Montreal parts with PK Subban.

I don't know why Bergevin even bothered being vague on the subject. Subban isn't going anywhere
