I said nothing about 2014. They went down 0-2 against the blues a few years back. But 2014 is a good example as well now that you bring it up. They play their best hockey when their backs are against the wall. Championship players. You can't say that about the sharks. Except for jones.

I expect the Sharks to be better tonight. I think that they were nervous in front of their home crowd (which they haven't played particularly well for all season) and with the chance to go up 3-0, much like the Preds were last night. They could've especially been trying too hard to get a big powerplay goal for the fans, perhaps explaining going 0-5.

Because SJ should be better, LA needs to be better, too. Sutter needs to use McNabb and McBain more, rather than stapling them to the bench and riding the others. Playing Muzzin for 29 minutes, especially, is a bad idea (even with Schenn covering for him). I'd also like to see Versteeg get more minutes. The team needs his speed, yet he was limited to only 6 minutes last game. In general, LA needs to get back to a more even distribution of minutes and rolling four lines and three pairs.
