I know our fans were idiots. But where was the national outrage at this:

I love Tarasenko so very much. What a sniper.
- bodiva88

Me too. Doesnt back down, beautiful, pure release on his shot. Kids a stud.

Sometimes shooters like Tarasenko score goals that look easy.

Sorry I must have misinterpreted your post. I thought you meant Mason should have been switched. My bad.
- jak521

No no not at all, im for mason playing tonight but apparently thats not happening. I think medvedev shouldve come in for game 2 immediately once coots went down. once we knew our defense took a hit and having no replacement for him that would come close, i would counter with a bit more offesne, a bit more risk taking, and switch up maybe personnel on the PP with medey in. wouldnt hurt right, look where we are now.

He does slash him right in the face, but I think it was because the butt-end of his stick catches the glass and propels it forward. It should still be a penalty (gotta have control of your stick), but it wasnt a Duncan Keith type slash to the face IMO.

If a sellout crowd at Wells Fargo Center is 19543 people, then by my math, 0.005% of that crowd rounds up to be just one person.

But this looks like a lot more than just one wrist band.

And...

Looks like the percentage of knuckle dragging embarrassing fans is a LOT higher than that.

Read the thread and you'll see we've fixed the math, sweetheart.

Can I petition the refs to put an end to this wristband nonsense? It's worse than poopty music buzz.

I agree 100%. I personally think Manning has been in way over his head.

Mason does not look right to me the last two games. I'm all for getting a change in net. Do I think it HAS to happen? No. But I'm totally open to it.
- funmaster18

I just think it sends a bad message to him, going throughout the whole summer with the though of letting your team down and being yanked in an elimination game. i think it does better to show Hak has loyalty to mason even if he loses. one less thought on his mind after a rough series all around.

We already worked this out a few pages back. Crawl back in to your hole.
- MBFlyerfan

All you worked out is that the OP intended to say 0.5%. Which means he meant to say there were only 100 douche-bagels in the entire arena. Even photo evidence shows that is still a woefully optimistic estimate and you all agree with that anyways. Still swimming down the river Denial about the rampant douchery among Philly sports fans..

I'd love to see them prove me wrong tonight but I suppose you think there will only be a maximum of 100 people cheering if a Caps player needs help getting off the ice because of an injury.

100 wristbands/ 19,540 = .005 (rendered as a decimal, 1.0 equals 100 percent, 0.5 equals 50 percent, .05 equals five percent, .005 equals five-tenths of one percent).

you could say manning, AMac, Streit. I mean Ghost still is 100% necessary to have in obviously, Gudas has played well minus some bad penalties, and to be honest schultz has been our best dman, which is just appalling to say. although i appreciate his efforts 100%

out of streit AMac and manning, i would personally sit AMac, i cant stand his clear hesitation and his turn style type defense in allowing guys to gain the blue-line with relative ease. it drives me insane

What fan base do you cheer for "new guy".

I love that you hate the Flyers so much. Must have made you cry a bunch as a child.

Can you tell me where he is way over his head?

I must be the dumbest person ever because I see manning and Schultz followed by Gudas as the best dmen on the Flyers this series.

Not showing up as duplicate. Just new. Maybe his first post should get him a ban for lack of pertinence.

DRIVES ME NUTS!

I saw it broken down on twitter from game two. He had an open pass to Ghost for a controlled exit.. He hesitates, kinda double clutches, allows a d-man to take away that space, and then turns in BLINDLY up the boards right to a Caps player who then has a controlled entrance and the Caps got a scoring chance. Happens all the time.

Who cares?

Either he gets over it or he looks to find a new deal else where if he can't. Next season is a contract year for him and Neuvirth.

I understand why they are starting Neuvirth, but I'd play Mason

Either he's your starter or he isn't -- and one stretch of games against the best team in the sport, after he helps get you into the playoffs in the first place, shouldn't be enough to act like he's not your No. 1

Goaltending's a funny thing, and there aren't as many horses out there as anybody would like. But sometimes, guys give up soft ones you don't like, and sometimes, fluke bounces occur

Shouldn't be enough to erase three years of quality work, to me -- it's why we never have nice things at the goaltending position. Never stick with one guy when a small sample size isn't favorable

I think he's played OK in this series as well. couple of dumb penalties, but that's easy for me to say. I don't have guys like Ovie, Chimera and Wilson lining me up all night to put me through the end boards.
