I've really liked Gudas, Manning, Gagner, Ghost, and White.

The top 3 lines need to be blown up. Read was a late bloomer. Great 1st year. Signed extension. Disappeared. Got the $$.

Cap were second overall with GAA in the entire league with a goalie who tied Brodeur's record for wins in a season and will win the Vezina. Man, those first line guys really suck.

Sometimes I just don't understand the expectations. This how the Flyers will win anymore games in the series. They will be outshot, and will have to get Holtby screened or get tips. At most, they will score 3 goals in a game because the Caps team defense is really damn good.

the flyers were not down 3-0 because of him. not even close. 2 goals in 3 games. 0 for 13 on the pp. hung out to dry on the pk. no denying he gave up 2 bad goals. 1 much worse than the other. they didn't lose either game because of those goals. it's also possible he's just f'ng exhausted due to the neuvirth injury.

not sure if you know this, but teams have won the cup before using 2 goalies during the playoffs. obviously the flyers aren't going to do that, no matter who they have in net. the point still stands. chicago did it last year. darling bailed them out against nashville, then crawford did the rest.

the caps are an outstanding team. top to bottom. it's irritating as hell.

still. would be nice to see our top guys remotely threaten some offense...at least make the other team work hard to prevent them and wear them down. they've been flat out invisible.
