Still scared the Charges take him since they lost Weddle. I am hoping for Ramsey in the 1st and then maybe derrick henry in the 2nd if there. If Jaylen Smith from ND drops due to his injury I would love to grab him in the 3rd and stash him since he cant play next season
- J35Bacher

That is very possible. But I would be almost as fine with Bosa. Henry with their 2nd round pick would also be great.

It should be a good draft.

i don't really have a problem with neuvirth starting, because really, what's the difference. they aren't going to win the series. they've been run roughshod all over the ice and gotten obliterated on special teams. neuvirth can't make them score.

i feel for mason...especially if they lose, and his last game of the season is that 3rd period debacle, none of which was his fault.

teams are never as bad as they look when they're down, well, almost never. the flyers aren't this bad. it would be nice if the leaders actually led and put some pucks in the goddamn net. as many saves as holtby has made, they really have not made life difficult at all for him...and haven't gotten as much as a bounce either.

i just hope they do their best and keep their composure. and who goes in for bellemare, weal? or do we see umberger? i didn't read the blog. didn't have the energy.

Ive been reading all over that the Rams planned on taking Wentz.

If you make that trade you better be extremely excited about either guy

neuvirth single handedly saved our season when mason was out in la la land mason has done too much damage in this series to have neuvirth save it
- 2Real

To say this is Mason's fault is stupid but I am not shocked

I would have came back with Mason but I don't have a problem going with Neuvirth. Mason seems exhausted. Mason played how many games in a row and we not talking about easy game after easy game.

I personally go with McDonald or Weal over RJ. Like I said yesterday it would just be a Philadelphia thing to have RJ play, sustain a serious injury that prevents him from being bought out then having the NHL hold the expansion draft prior to 6/30/17 an make team protect guys with NMCs. I am not risking it for a series we have no shot to win for a guy who wouldn't be a difference maker anyway

Absolutely -- I was fine with letting Umberger have the final game of the season because as a long-time veteran, he deserved one last run for the few minutes he was going to get

This is different. The Caps are hitting for real, and the last thing anybody needs is Umberger getting crushed and not being able to be bought out

i would like to see mason go the distance, because he's earned it and deserves it. i do think that had he not given up the 2nd poop goal, he'd be starting tonight, regardless of the score. but i understand the decision. i just hope neuvirth does a great job, and those (frank)ers don't hang him out to dry.

re: umberger - yeah, i didn't think of that, and the way the caps have been taking liberties, i wouldn't be surprised if he got hurt and (frank)ed us with respect to moving him. sigh.

If they take Wentz -- and they will -- two things:

1. They've got a bigger set of brass ones than I ever will

2. IF Wentz can't play, careers will end and NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, will ever forget

if the Championship drought goes from 55 to 65, 75, 85 years is there really any difference? Seats are all filled.

so Straka was not among the black aces callups. guess that tells a lot about where they see him. I'd still resign him because he is a good player for the Phantoms

The ONLY good thing about this insane eagles trade is that no one will talk about the brackets and the poor playoff showing of the flyers.
Other than that, it was stupid.

Whatever Howie thinks is best! No clue though... i just don't doubt any possible moves when it comes to the Eagles. Each offseason I say, "this offseason has been the craziest one for us." And it gets crazier each time. Maybe one of them will pay off

"I think it's a good time for a change for our team going into this game," coach Dave Hakstol said after the morning skate in Voorhees. "I believe Neuvy is the guy who can go in for us in this situation and do a great job."

Hakstol said his decision to use Neuvirth over Steve Mason was "not a negative to Mase. It's about winning Game 4. Pure and simple."

Do these reporters ever ask why Medvedev is not playing when we can't score?
