I'm just curious to see how they regard a ref being called a F***** and flipped off twice VS a player to player throat slash.

We already know that if players attempt to paralyze each other it can be anywhere between no games and 2 games but can also be 50 games.

I'm pleased with this result... not because of the number of times they won, but that they won the first time. Eventually when the lottery happens, they'll only do it once.

As long as we target younger guys with some skill and experience as opposed to aging veterans I wouldn't mind using up a few of the picks that way. Just has to be the right guys and right fit to compliment what we already have and what is coming up.

I think if we can really shore up the goaltending and get a bit more offence in place we will look better, though hard to get worse really!

I can't see Stamkos not playing centre here if he comes. Willie can move to RW. Even Matthews can play LW realistically. There are options, but I also see trading Kadri as one of those options if it can get us a good defenseman in the future. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.

Stammer would go in right as 1C, regardless of Matthews etc. Even if Kadri slipped down to being 3C, there's no issue with him being a 4.5m 3C if you have Willie, Sosh, Hyman, Brown, Marner, 1st rounder 2016 etc on ELCs...

He's harmless. It has been a long year for the leafs,, again. This lottery in a few days is a big deal for the franchise going forward. But I also believe that no matter the result of the lottery, the current management team will do an excellent job of building this into a competitive team.
