Me too, Jets might be like nah

Seems like too good of a deal for TOR

You guys might be overvaluing Trouba a tad...

He's thier 3rd best defencman... He'll want 6mil+ and they didn't make the playoffs this year.. I like his game and would love to have him, but not at the expense of moving our best center right now. Kadri is better than most jets forwards so i think wpg would be more willing to consider that than most think.. throw in Hellebyck (however its spelled) and im listening..

I'm talking lyrics, the epics songs of the seventies told a story. It's not about bands or their music. If you compare decades, it's pretty clear, songwriting in the 70's was damn good, Dylan, Lightfoot, Young, Simon, Taupin etc... On and on.

Gone through those decades, I can't think of lyricists that match those in the 70's.

I bought a slice of pizza, the total came to 4.20. I logged onto NHL.com, the Philly game was at 4:20 of the first period.

Other organizations (not just sports ones) need to use this as a blueprint.

Short, to the point. No hedging. Straight apology, unconditional. Player acknowledges mistake, apologizes, then remains to face music from reporters.

Blackhawks' statement was just as good. Very short, addresses past and future.

Props to Blackhawks comms department today. They couldn't have handled it better.

Get stronger/faster, improve my VO2 Max; learn to play bass, work on my drum rudiments that I never did 25 years ago despite playing my whole life. Get better at Ultimate; paint; travel; build my studio/recording business...

I used to love the Clash.

At least for me, the music just doesn't hold up anymore.

I wish it was otherwise, but other than Lost in the Supermarket, I'd probably hit skip on every other song on London Calling.

Everybody believes the music they listened to from age 15-20 or so is the best music in the history of the world. They'll have the same opinion when it comes to cast and writing of Saturday Night Live.

I beg to differ - the best music was when I was between 18 - 24

When I was in high school, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, etc. were just breaking out into the mainstream so it was (in my opinion) the last cultural phenomenon to stem entirely out of music: there's been fads and trends since then, but that was the last movement that shaped a generation entirely by means of music.

Since then, there hasn't been anything like that.
