This off-season should be pretty wild. But the action won't start until after the lottery. Gotta wait for that shoe to drop, then its go time - WingmanWillie
There are a few people that would appreciate that info.
Just sayin - bixll
McDavid going to Edmonton took any doubt away in my mind that its not rigged.. I thought the ides was dumb in the first place..but that sealed it for me

I understand, but this will continue until puck drop, so I am going to be patient.

If the Yotes get the first pick, it will look really bad.

remember how kadri's suspension came on the heels of babcock openly criticizing the bias in the officiating towards kadri?
and then bang... questionable suspension
not overly shocking to me.... i dont agree with it... but it doesnt surprise me - Dozzer
On the surface, the Leafs very rarely get the benefit of doubt. Maybe because it is so scrutinized here with the media, that they want to make a point, I don't know.

Yep. If it's going to be rigged any year it's the McDavid entry. And there's no reason why the league would rig it for the team in that northern Canadian outpost.

in the toronto market there is no sweeping anything under the rug
I think he doesn't want to trade Gardiner which has me all sorts of confused - RickJames77
I am probably in the minority but I dont see the point in the leafs doing a trade like that.. JG is undervalued imo .... they can stay the course and draft thier own Troubas or whoever is next on the Leafs fans drool over list ... unless a team wants to drop a player in the lap of the leafs for a song... dont worry about other teams young players.. get your own through drafting and developing

This is how I feel really. With the amount of picks the Leafs have coming up it won't be long before they have their own homegrown talent. Give it a few years, no need to overpay in trades just yet.

Just got off the phone with a very important businesswoman who advised me that I could be making $15 million dollars in offshore oil imports if I gave her my credit card.
Needless to say I'm going to be rich soon suckers. See you at Dozzer's house!

I guess then my point is, JG51 and a 2nd is drastically underpaying for Trouba
In which case you do that 10/10 times. I guess we just value the player differently, which is cool.
