If we want the Bruins to start moving in the right direction, our first and most obvious step should be to show Sweeney the door. Won't happen, but it is the only way to get them back on track. As it currently stands, the Bruins roster is too old, slow and mediocre to compete for a Cup. There are bright spots of course, I'm not advocating dumping the entire roster. Bergy needs to retire in Black and Gold for instance. I just think that if we can get a forward-thinking GM in place before the draft, we might have a chance.
The decisions Sweeney made in the off-season seemed like he was trying to be the only GM in the league that was trying to make his team bigger and tougher instead of faster and more talented. The big bad Bruins are a thing of the past. A dinosaur that needs to be allowed to become extinct. We need more Pastrnaks and fewer Hayes. More Krugs and fewer McQuaids. God, PLEASE at least one fewer McQuaids.

I totally agree, the Bruins seem to have one of the most incompetent management teams in the entire NHL, a cleaning of the house is in order!
