They count but you dont go into a matchup expecting to score half your goals on the PP. The Caps have deserved to be ahead. I am just saying the Flyers are good enough to beat the capitals if they are disciplined. People act as if Philly had no chance. If they go into the series disciplined, this series is a lot closer. Philly is making it easy for Washington right now. It isnt as if Washington is making them take these penalties. These are dumb and lazy plays

Edmonton does that trade all day. Sure hall is great and klefbom is promising but that's what you have to give up for one of the top 10 D in the league.

Last year they were disciplined. Right now it is just dumb penalties killing us. Unnecessary Slashes in the offensive end on the powerplay, Manning swinging upwards at a puck in mid air. Right now it is stupid things. It is onething if Washington is forcing them to take penalties by overwhelming them but that isnt the case. Players are doing things that dont make any sense at all and for no reason.

Respectfully it aint just the PP...Philly is outgunned in every way shape and form vs WAS. It's men against boys out there. WAS can roll and score on all 4 lines with D depth...Philly has none of that and Holtby is just on another level. But it was nice to see Philly get in instead of BOS.

It is not all the issues but I mean if a team has 12 goals 8 of which are on the PP. That tis a big part of the problem. Not scoring on their own PP is also another problem. Flyers are getting chances though, they need to do a better job of screening Holtby. PP is awful at that. Instead of Simmonds screening like Williams has done to Mason, he is sitting beside Holtby holding his hand....

I read your articles a lot EK, I love your continuous hate on the Habs, keep up the good work!
