No mention of the disgraceful flyers fans last night?

I dont know, think it is a grey line. One the one hand it was for Ed Snider on the other hand the Team was in a close game until that random bounce on the PP and then the team got stupid and gave Washington the win..... Seriously it is like the team went full retard. When a team has 8 of 12 goals on the PP... DONT TAKE PENALTIES!!!! At Event Strength the Flyers are down 3-2 if you ignore Game 2's fluke goal.

BTW

All underlying numbers enthusiasts, are you going to continue to pretty much ignore special teams play in your analysis of match-ups after this Caps-Flyers series?

Montreal is an awesome city, they've got great food, beautiful women, rich in culture and history......that's about it though.

could you imagine if this were a contract year for Price.

He would be the first goalie to demand and receive $10M per

he'll have to prove he can stay healthy if he wants to earn $10 million. 4 times in the last 5 seasons he's ended the year on IR, including missing 70 games this year. great goalie but he's absolutely (frank)ing useless if he can't stay healthy.

If what he wanted the most was no controversy, then why didn't he just sign with the Bolts again???

Your not wrong, although I think "great goalie" is selling it a bit short.

i think you're misusing the stats. I don't know that it really matters is he ended the season on IR, it's how many games throughout the season did he miss.

Discounting this lost year, he's averaged 66 games played throughout the past 4 full seasons.

So, not sure he has to prove anything, health-wise, playing 80% of the games each season seems par for the course, to me at least.

If I'm Bergevin, I listen...but the offer needs to be pretty awesome to start a discussion. There is also the matter of replacing him. I'm not really confident in a Petry and 37 year old Markov top D pairing.

it's not normal for a goalie to get injured as often as he does. twice this year, twice in 13-14, injured in 2012-13, injured in 2011-2012, injured in 2009-10. the fact that so many of his injuries have come at the worst times is bad luck. getting injured that often isn't bad luck. and it's not like losing a defender or forward. you cannot replace a starting goalie unless your starting goalie sucks.
