Laine also has scored a goal a game in pretty much every international tournament and holds the record for most goals scored by an U18 player in SM-liiga playoff history. Just saying...and he's 6'4 boom!!!!!!!!!!

Do you remember a certain big Swede who was great in the tournament and drove the net, all thought he would be great?

But at the same time, do you remember any 160lb waterbugs who have put up huge points for the London Knights, but amounted to nothing in the NHL?

RS.

Not trying to be a Richard, but I don't see how you can discount one top prospect because of his playing style and body type with comparables, but not another.

Edit: edited so Symba wouldn't be correct.

Hey Lums.

I've been spending my morning jumping around different threads dismissing the fact that Philly fans are the worst in pro sports... worst in NA maybe. They're pussies in comparision to soccer fans around the world.

My family's from Liverpool and the stories my cousins telling me (going back in time because things are different now) about things that happen at certain matches.

Darts, golf balls, flares, even the fold-down hard plastic seats were thrown. Some fans used to get hit with the darts when they didn't make the field. Crazy poop.

Where did the truck go that was on the ice?

You see it at center ice on the way to the net,but not from the 2nd perspective

Looks like 2 separate videos to me

What I want to know is, and maybe Mike or someone connected with Central scouting will find out, is how do the top 5 from last year, ( excluding McJesus) compare to the top 5 from this year.

In other words, how would Central scouting rank the following if they were all in the same draft year?

Eichel
Marner
Strome
Hannifin
Matthews
Laine
Puljujarvi (spelling?)
Tkachuk
Dubois

Just want to get an idea of relative strength of the draft pick we will get.

- Rang

ill try

I think Eichel goes ahead of Matthews in the same draft

Eichel
Matthews
Laine
Marner/Strome (even imo, I think Marner ends up better)

Some scouts had Matthews ahead of Eichel last year even, but he wasn't eligible.

Flames, Nucks, Leafs...

Could be worse. We get the top pick in the east.

Leafs, Sabres, Avalanche

Good stuff but really pity Laine in this situation.

I have this bad gut feeling that one of those two Finns will be a bust, our luck it will be the one we choose if we get pick two or three.

The Americans are going to have an awesome Olympic team for the near future:

Eichel
Matthews
Hannifin
Thachuk

In addition to all of the good players they already have.

I'm staying positive about them both and saying that at minimum, the worse one of the two will be an Olli Jokinen type.

I just can't shake that feeling, the number three pick could be the pick that is the worse out of the top 7.
