have you officiated?

buddy asked me to ref a game for him and his friends once.

it was basically just me no linesmen nothing and I thought they just wanted to have a friendly game. turns out they were pretty serious about the whole thing.

didn't go real well. I didn't know how to work the scoreboard at Ray-Bourque.

never again? I mean think about an average beer hockey league - a 100 dudes - in a typical 7-8 team league. A lot of them are going to be douches. And the top 10% of them are going to be mega douches.

It sucks to be a referee.

well lots of em have a chip on their shoulder. i mean 75% of those guys probably thought they were going pro when they scored 12 goals in Bantam BB.

the way i look at is the players pay to be there. the refs are paid to be there.

I'm in a pretty low level league and we have some guys that were in Junior B kickin around. Its always the best players that are bigger than everyone else that are whining and crying to refs and trying to start fights with people.

Most adult players who have to go to work 9-5 pay to play hockey and have fun and not have to worry about Douchey McDouche trying to fight them for no reason or skate recklessly around and bowl them over

Habs will participate in the rookie tournament again in London this year, September 16th-18th, vs. Pittsburgh, Toronto and Ottawa

Wonder if the Habs will dress Matthews, or wait for the main camp...

well trades involving terrible hockey players coming to Montreal seem quite natural for him

you're not giving him credit for the work he's accomplished bro.

acquiring Paul Byron is the easy part. locking him up to a three-year contract? now that takes skills.
