Exactly.

Corporations don't, but their middle class employees do.
Meanwhile, these corporations bury money in a fiscal paradise in the islands somewhere.

You're so (frank)ing out of touch with reality, it's almost scary.

- Pecafan Fan

Let's take a small business in butt (frank) SK as an example of a corporation, that's been in business, let's say for 15 years.

It pays out roughly 1 million per year in labour at a tax rate let's be conservative here and use 15%, that goes to Ottawa (we all know it's more than that)

So 15 years at 150k per year is 2.25 million to Ottawa.

Not to mention anything about the spin off taxes that are paid as a result of this little entity.

One little business in butt (frank) SK, has sent that much to Ottawa, why and the (frank) should it not get a tax break??

That's reality Marty..

The corporation should totally get a tax break and the $$ needed to run the country should come from taxing the employees income instead!!!

It would be helpful if you framed this argument with the annual revenues of said business.

A company pulling in $2 mil in revenue while paying $1 mil in salaries has a starkly different outlook than a company pulling in $10 mil in revenue and paying the same $1 mil in salaries.

Don't understand why MB says you can't make trades for top 6 forwards in today's game. Maybe get a new scouting and developing staff that can get you some valuable assets that teams would want in a trade. Nikita Sherbak looked great for 2 games in St johns. The rest he looked like a piece of poop. You would think with all the call ups he would take advantage. Awful defensively, turnover machine but that can be fixed. What can't be fixed is he is the laziest human being I ever saw in my life. NO CARE factor. Zero.

and you know whats funny? Timmons drafted Juulsen because he says he was very familiar with him being Sherbaks teammate. He said he saw him a lot last year while scouting Sherbak. Excuse me moron but why the (frank) you scouting Sherbak after you already drafted him?!?!?! Do something useful and go watch eligible players. You know like the time you traded up to get Tinordi while you could keep your two picks and draft TWO of kuznetsov Toffoli and Faulk? Genious

Look at the playoffs. Nashvilles top 3 forwards johansen Forsberg and Neal were all acquired by trade

Dallas has Seguin Spezza and Sharp all acquired by trade.

Blues 2nd line of stasny steen and Brouwer were not original blues

In order to make a trade you have to have something that somebody else wants.
