I guess that all depends on his relation with Cooper. I don't know if Cooper's attitude is I'm playing him because I don't have a choice because Stamkos is injured and it was too late for another alternative or I'm playing him because I think I see him in my core in the future.

Looks like Boudreau is keeping with the tradition of losing game 7. Unbelievable!

kind of ridiculous that they couldn't get by Nashville though...

I thought for sure that they would take the Preds.

Any thoughts if Boudreau will keep his job? He did rally and turn to a more defensive style until the offense picked up and they were killing it. At least he can change his system, approach and style....unlike someone we all know....*couch* Therrien *cough*

Subban for Kesler works for both teams. Anaheim gets their 30-minute horse, Montreal gets rid of their biggest problem and acquires an aging center with a terrible contract whose offensive skills should be eroding over the next few years as he breaks down physically.

not that i think Nashville isn't a solid team. but the Ducks are supposed to be a top 3 NHL team... losing those first 2 games at home was ridiculous.

I know it's a small sample, but I wasn't very impressed by what I saw on NHL 24/7 when he was coaching in Washington...seems his strategy is to use "(frank)" every 3 words.

Yeah, I guess they could fire him and just play a Quentin Tarantino movie for them instead before each game.

There's something clearly wrong with his style, or motivational tactics if he keeps losing these important, high stress games?

not sure that's anything more than poopty luck...
as for motivation, if your players need prodding to get motivated for a game 7, you've already lost anyway.

Well maybe they'll make some changes on the player personnel side of things? They're such a good, but confusing team. A lot of people had them going all the way in their playoff pools.....

#NHLDucks have more Game 7 home losses in the past 4 seasons than the #Habs do in their entire franchise history
