North Dakota's Drake Caggiula is visiting EDM next week. I wonder how he like's the idea of playing against Stecher & Boeser all the time in the west?

He is still free though. Free, with connections to VAN in Boeser and Stecher, and adds organizational depth for either VAN or Utica. I just don't see the harm in picking him up, I only see a good addition, even if he doesn't pan out. The worst thing is that he takes up a contract spot.

Of course, but in an organization that lacks the same depth in the AHL as teams like WSH/DAL/CHI/TOR etc. Caggiula can either be a bargaining chip in trade conversation down the road, or can make a push for a roster spot, all at the expensive of nothing
