I think you all need to re-evaluate your definition of worst.

Throwing snowballs at Santa is funny. Throwing commemorative bracelets on the ice is silly but understandable considering their frustration level. Better than a pocket full of change or a bottle of bud.

Those objects pale in comparison to objects like golf balls, darts, hard plastic stadium seats, flares, etc.

If anything, Philly fans need to up their game if they want to be considered worst in pro sports. Pussies compared to soccer fans.

My family's from Liverpool and my cousins used to tell me the horror stories from Anfield. Darts were thrown and guess who got it when they didn't make the field? Puts getting sprinkled by an orange crush or bud light into perspective doesn't it.

I remember going to Anfield as a 9 year old canadian. That was in the late 70s. Still scarred by the experience.

That's one direction to go, and you're right we should be cautious to generalize. Having spent a fair amount of time in Toronto and rural Ontario, I can tell you that racist attitudes are very common and embedded in those places. You don't have to say all in order to generalize, it's there and saying it's one person is going the opposite route of denial.

But that's the difference in the US. You can drive across canada without really going through any rough or dangerous areas.
