I think this summer they announce it - VANTEL
Right but the draft would happen next summer right? Or they are a team starting next season? |

That's what I was thinking, if they are in the pacific it could make LA a non-playoff team |

Not sure. The arena is ready so why have it sitting doing nothing for a year? |

That's pretty interesting! Sbisa would hurt, Dorsett would be nice! I agree Don, he adds grit. I think JV is going to be a big time physical presence next year, hopefully Tree too. I think we need to be physical in 2-3 years, were still growing/transitioning. |

I suppose if we aren't going to be a playoff team it's not an immediate concern. jV really is our only forward that can intimidate D on the forcheck and that's pathetic. Especially as he is 19 |

No.
Would not start until 2017.
they wouldn't be able to get all the behind the scenes things up and running in time for October. Not to mention, I think the schedule would have to be totally revamped. |

True, also would adding one more team be adding one more game? |

Don't think there is anywhere reporting that the season would be lengthened. But not positive on that.
EDIT:
I think it would simply mean that the number of games between certain teams would diminish. If they put two in the west the schedule would be like in the East where division and non-division are split different from the West currently. |

I think so too, need to get a GM/staff hired and in place. Next summer could be really interesting. Mike Richards and Stoll as captains |

I don't know much about him but if you look at his roster and he made the playoffs . That alone is outstanding. - VANTEL

I like Seattle, still no arena there though. Vegas makes a lot of sense. We need another 2 western teams. I've always wondered about Portland... seems like the hipsters may really like Hockey, I know they do in Vic/Van.. until it becomes cool to like anyway |

A team in Seattle would be awesome. Short trip would cut down on travel for the Canucks a lot. |

hmmm maybe ya. I like the idea that Seattle loves the seahawks so much. Having a good fan base should be a must. |

Seattle is the worst sports city in North America. Hockey would never fly there imo.
NFL is a different beast, in case that is going to be your argument... |
